My name is Porcha Maten. This is my 1st year teaching kindergarten. I received my BS in Family and Consumer Science: Child Development from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I like to read and travel. My favorite children’s author is Judy Blume and my favorite author of adult books is Nikki Turner.

I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have one brother, two sisters, a dog name CiCi, and a cat name Phoebe. In my free time, I like to explore the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I like to try new restaurants, shop and watch movies with my boyfriend.
